Freedom of Speech would like to KNOW, "did they cook the books" on the Linden Meadows Project?

With these figures, it's obvious, there were serious issues!

After reviewing the New Albany Community Housing Balance sheet above, questions and red flags continue to pop up.

For well over three years, proponents of Linden Meadows have spread false rumors and even more lies.

It does appear that some members of our community have lifted a few too many pints of progressive ale and was on the wrong side of this project.

While claiming to be advocates for low-income housing, CHDO received a blanket approval for the entire subdivision in violation of the 60' variance ordinance.

Director John Miller claimed he had a waiting list of well over 200 families ready to qualify and move in.

Was that another lie?

He anticipated $75 million in federal funding. But requested free tap in fees, and tax abatement's for Linden Meadows.

Was that another lie?

Smart growth?

It is a no brainer that it is crucial to keep green spaces in our inner city. Howard McLean Park was one of those.

Please tell us again why those houses weren't put at Valley View on several lots along Linden Street owned by the city. All 23 houses could have been moved there, remodeled and sold by now.

We lift our own glass to the neighbors and the Fawcett Family on their battle of protecting property rights!

To the citizens who continue to maliciously try to blame and persuade our community, that it was about something else, shame on YOU!

Our final question is: "where did all that money go?"

Thank God... HUD of Indianapolis and Washington DC, is looking into Linden Meadows and Redevelopment of New Albany.

It's time to cut our losses and TEAR them down!

CO - OP HEALTHCARE:

Our understanding is that in a government funded co-op, the feds would put up the money to start it, therefore they would control it with the intention being that they would eventually drop out when the co-op was up and running and sustaining it self.

BUT, until that happened, everyone involved in providing health care in that co-op would work for the government.

That includes doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, nurses, nursing homes and etc. They would hire, fire, set wages, set rates, premiums and etc.

We've done research, and we can't find anywhere that it's been done on a large scale, more than about 500,000 people. People who got their health care through the co-op would have no choices other than those care providers employed by the co-op, and that could be a non-started for huge areas of the country.

The Co-ops are just another way around public option which is another way around single payer - which is the way to "government take over."

When we see something that doesn't involve "Federal Funding" which means "Government Control - take over" just like the banks and the Auto Industry - then maybe we will start to believe they have our best interests at heart!

Before we go down the "co-op" road, why is it the state restrictions on purchasing health insurance cannot be lifted?

A REALITY CHECK....TIME TO MAKE CUTS!

It is clear that good local government does not run itself--it must be managed. And nowhere does this responsibility fall more heavily than on our elected public officials.

We feel local government should be forced to "make do with less."

The easiest way to cut spending is to root out waste.

* Departments need to be better managed and reduce costs

* Department heads and the England Administration should be held accountable to taxpayers for their wasteful spending and mismanagement of taxpayer dollars

* Excessive use of cell phones, over time and take-home cars are costing the citizens a bundle

* Catering to developers for political favors and downtown business is flat wrong

* Departments should provide high quality and cost effective services

Why has borrowing become an option for closing budget gaps of wasteful spending?

Our city budget should only fund the public highest priorities. Budget decisions should be based on evidence that citizens are getting their money's worth.

Money should be shifted only to the real needs not wants of any particular party or group.

Just like responsible families, council members should create a fund-setting aside money in case of a city emergency.

We feel that certain departments and boards should be eliminated. For example, the Sewer Board, Stormwater Board, Billing Department and the Board of Works.

Some costs in these departments are duplicated. For example, attorneys, secretaries, computer technology and staff.

It is time the elected officials start running our city like a business.

It is time you make the hard decisions Council members!

Improving the quality of the budget process and the management of public money is not a Democrat or Republican issue.

Fiscal responsibility is the common ground where right thinking and good common sense can make local government work better.

We need to stop the frivolous spending and get back to basics.

A commitment to addressing these problems now, is the first test of fiscal responsibility.

After reviewing the CHDO Financial Report above, questions and red flags popped up.

* Construction in Progress - $3,311,220
There appears to be "NO" construction in progress right now [we suggest you ride over and see for yourself].

Who made the appraisal that $3,311,220.00 construction is in progress?

Are the questions we have listed on CHDO's Balance Sheet Summary the concerns that prompted the current "federal investigation" of the New Albany CHDO?

Is it true Ted Fulmore, CHDO Vice President and John Miller, CHDO Director have resigned?

We think it is not RIGHT that the CHDO Board and the City of New Albany are trying to place blame for the failure of the Linden Meadows Project on the neighbors who fought for their ball park.

"Shame on each one of You CHDO members, and everyone CONNECTED with this Project!"

What we've always wanted to know is "how in the hell they've gotten away with as much as they have and all they have" all these years?

One final question: Where did all the Bank money, HUD money and Redevelopment money go?

Since our Representative Baron Hill won't take the time to meet with his constituents, why should we expect him to read bills? We have read HR 3200 and intend to read the others and then make it our mission to educate everyone we know about the dangers of these so called bills.

What was it Baron Hill called us protesters? Political Terrorist?

We sure hope it isn't true he plans to run for Indiana Governor, because this is one group of "political terrorist voters" he will NEVER get!

"SNITCH GATE"

Some of you may be aware that the White House has put up a site which talks a bit about campaigns to spread "disinformation" about health care reform.

The most alarming aspect of this ominous situation is that the government is now openly advocating "self censorship" through intimidation tatics.

As soon as we viewed the White House posting of the video rebuttal to the Drudge Report quotation clip - we saw our duty as an American and we did it.

They wanted to know who was spreading crazy, false and fishy statements about the Health Insurance Bill:

So we told 'em, by Jeezus!

We used that there very same e-mail address under the old blond lady's video message box.

[My GOD she's lookin' tough since her reportin' days. Y'uh think, maybe she had an industrial accident at the plastic surgeon's office, like Nancy Pelosi?]

Anyway that's what we did. We put our heads together with our staff members. Yep - we did send that snitchin' e-mail.

Why? I'll tell y'uh why!

My Great Grandfather taught me, he said, "Yuh know - when some weasel ask you to snitch on your friends - you just go right ahead and do it, dammit. Especially if there's a bounty involved - and make sure you check to see if there is one first.

"If y'uh gonna sell someone down the river to the weasels, you oughtta make something on the deal. Right?" Yup. That's what he said.

Forty years later, we had that very same discussion.

An' he went on:

"Y'uh see, Master Erik, he said, them weasels who'll ask you to turn in your friends are a very rare species and you know we've gotta protect those rare and endangered species - "specially them weasels."

And his last words on the topic were "Erik - the world needs weasels, but you can't always get new friends." So, snitch on the weasels, and not on your friends!

That sob doesn't seem to sleep in the same bed two nights in a row. We went thru' hell finding where he permanently hangs his hat.

This guy hops on more beds than a prosti-toad.

Anyway, we trace him an' one night he's in Chicago, another night in New York, Paris, London, Cairo, Washington and then we got nailed with my brother-in-law. He says "Pennsylvania Avenue ain't even permanent. Didn't you know?"

He says, that sob isn't even a natural Citizens of the United States.

Any of you who haven't got the guts to snitch - shame on you!

You know where the lies is comin' from. Come on - you know just like we know. We bet he's told you the same bullshit in a big speech on TV.

What about Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Dodd and good ole' Baron Hill of Indiana.

For those five, democracy appears to be a distraction.

So - all right maybe it's not that big a secret.

But the crazy and fishy lies is comin' from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., 223 Cannon House Office Bld. and 131 Russell Senate Office Building in Washington.

We just wasn't afraid to write it and e-mail it to them.

footnote: What does the Constitution say about Obama's snitch gate?

According to 5 U.S.C.552a, United States agencies, including the Executive Office of the President shall, "maintain no record describing how any individual exercises rights guaranteed by the First Amendment unless expressly authorized by statute or by the individual about whom the record is maintained or unless pertinent to and within the scope of an authorized law enforcement activity."

So the snitch list appears to be unlawful. That is, until Obama "abolishes the 1st Amendment!"

BEER SUMMIT

The much anticipated Obama, Crowley and Gates "beer summit" will play thematic fuel for thousands of media outlets.

Rumor has it Obama will reach for a Budweiser, Crowley will shoot for a Blue Moon, and Gates will reach for either a German brewed Becks or Jamaican brewed Red Stripe.

Obama has been quoted as "avoiding" designer beers.

It's been reported by Gibbs the definition for "designer beers" has yet to be legislated.

That's right. When Obama screws up he invites them over for a beer and a learning moment!

This invite for a "beer" is just a smokescreen.

Obama acknowledged the other day to have raised this to a Cuban Missile like crisis, and that he could have "calibrated his words better." Who in the hell calibrates their words, other than a bullshitter?

Gates and Obama suffer from the delusion that, if you are a black person, you have the right to disrespect and resist the police. And, if the police object, you can always play the race card!

Here is the real learning moment:

Crowley needs to first test the beer for poison by having Rahm Emmanuel drink some first [but NO backwash please, use a Dixie cup]. In the meantime, while Crowley drinks beer and is lectured black liberation theology from Obama and Gates, Crowley puts down his beer, stand up and ask Obama "where is your birth certificate" and walks out!

Cheers to beer, foolish remarks, overreacting and reporting for duty.

We should all be invited to the table for a beer!

IS THE HONEYMOON OVER?

How many more times are we going to have to hear the president or one of his lackeys [Pelosi, Reid, Gibbs] arrogantly say "we won", "we inherited this" and now "I'm the president". When will Obama Hussein stand accountable for himself and not blame his predecessor, and stop acting like his narrow victory is a free pass to bankrupt our country.

Have they forgotten the democrats were in power when he took the reins?

Let's quit the blame game and get on with fixing the problems.

Our media has been guilty yet again of not letting facts get in the way of hero-building.

We still don't see the kinds of demands on Obama that were put on President Bush, Clinton and Reagan.

No one ever points out to him that he didn't answer the question, or points out the possible dire effects of his policies on the poor and middle class he claims to want to help.

If the honeymoon is indeed over and the media becomes more critical of Obama, we don't think he will handle it well. Have you watched the raw anger in his eyes when anyone challenges him?

Btw, where is your birth certificate Mr. Obama?

Can we assume that all you Obama "kool aid drinkers" haven't a clue as to what will happen if the Senate passes the "crap and tax" bill?

Here's something to think about.

In a 300 page add on to an already massive 1200 page bill that nobody in Congress really has time to read [not even Barron Hill], all states would be required to adopt the building codes used in California!

We've got two Community Organizers, in the White House, with a hidden agenda known only to their financial backers, to Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, to Speech Writer David Axelrod, and to the Obama czars.

Czars who only answer to the President, and cannot be interrogated by CONGRESS but-are paid for, and managed by, taxpayer dollars!

Maybe that's why Gibbs so often looks so scared, and sounds so inept?

If Obama's Healthcare Reform Bill is proof and if the Health Plan Obama advocates, ain't GOOD ENOUGH for our elected President, and his family - [who admits they don't want it], and it ain't GOOD ENOUGH for the members and families of the House and Senate. then it "ain't GOOD ENOUGH" for "We the People, the citizens of America!"

Why should we let them cram this down our throats?

WHY INCREASE OUR GARBAGE RATE?

First of all, were not getting the service we pay for.

Second why should you increase our garbage rate when it was Mayor Garner who promised upon privitizing garbage services:

1. It would save the city xyz amount of money

2. there would be no future rate increases

3. city employees would not lose their jobs.

4. Garner even cut recyling pick up

So what's the real reason for a rate increase?

Mayor England, was the one who mismanaged taxpayer dollars. Why should we pay for his mistakes?


1) Don't raise essential services, cut non-essential services.

2) Develop alternative sources of revenue.

Possible sources included:

* Reviewing all town fees, e.g. impact fees, licenses, and permits

* Establish high impact fees for developers

* Follow fiscally responsible and proactive plan

* Prioritize needs/ essential services

* Full disclosure of costs for projects

* No increase in taxes and fees

Freedom Of Speech would like to say:

Are the books of New Albany sewers, storm water, and sanitation wide open to public scrutiny, and is anybody doing the work of monitoring and reporting the financial changes?

Giving this Mayor more ratepayers money gives him more money to waste and spend.

It is up to you to help end these never ending rate increases. You can stop the City of New Albany Council from raising your garbage, sewer and stormwater rates.

It simply amazes us at the misconceptions people have about a government run plan.

By far, a single payer system would be the best for providing care and in lowering cost.

When will Americans face the fact that we will have to do some rationing with Obama's plan?

Obama's plan doesn't even make sense, to pay for healthcare by insurance that needs bailed out, lies, cheats, denies coverage and claims!
As an example of the idiocy that government has with respect to insurance mandates you do not have to go further than New York for a prime example. New York has a mandate that insurance must cover: erectile dysfunction meds [Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis].

The mandate was passed with no metrics whatsoever.

Less than a month after it was enacted, the insurance industry made the powers that be in New York aware that thousands of dosage units had been dispensed to people that were on the New York sex offenders registry.

See what happens when government steps in?

Why are we NOT seeing those stories blasted all over the news media?

Get your head out of the sand and face reality and make more intelligent decisions.

We are in the economic crisis.

Currently, the out of pocket expenses for Medicare with NO supplemental insurance plan are very high. According to CMS [center for Medicare/Medicaid services], Medicare only covers 53% of an average persons yearly healthcare expenses. By the time you add a supplemental policy [avg premium $253 per month according to CMS] the monthly premium for Medicare rises to over $400 per month per individual. For a family of 4 this would translate to monthly premiums of $1,600.

Some savings...

Good God, why do Canadians, Brits and others from all over the world come to the US for healthcare?

Because the government cannot dictate what kind of services can be provided to the individual!

The U.S. has the best healthcare in the world and why do you birdbrains want to change it?

You think Dr. Obama will provide you with the care you need? Or what he deems you need?

This is what Obama's healthcare will look like:

* How about a painkiller for that brain tumor? That should get you through the day.

* Got a lump in your breast? Too bad, we'll see you when it's in stage 4.

* You need an MRI? Sure...Just make an appointment and we'll see you in about 6 months.

Get it?

But we say, the plan that we as taxpayers are providing for the politicians, staff and their families, should also be provided to us, being that we are the ones paying for it!

They are quick to tell us what we need, but afford themselves the best WE can pay for.

Obama's Top Five Health Care Lies:

1) No one will be compelled to buy coverage.

2) No new taxes on employer benefits.

3) Government can control rising health care cost better than the private sector.

4) A public plan won't be a Trojan horse for a single-payer monopoly.

5) Patients don't have to fear rationing.

"The so called chosen one" is living proof that "cocaine abuse" causes brain damage.

BTW, when has government Obama done anything right, since being president?

Do you recall in your history classes reading about James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, and Thomas Jefferson?

We have no doubt that you've heard their names, and maybe someone once told you about their story, but you sir/ma'am spit on their graves everyday.

These men risked everything to obtain Freedom & Liberty.

You go to your office & meetings everyday, where you, your staff, and your partners in crime devise new ways to line your pockets and steal our money.

When our climate scientists can't tell us the weather tomorrow, how in the hell can they have any idea what man-made effects can have on long-term earth temperatures.

There is no creditable threat from man-made global warming; as a matter of fact the earth's temperature has been decreasing the last ten years.

The government can't even get their lies straight.

Speaking of Energy - the EPA admits the Crap-and-Trade Bill won't do anything or work!

Ever hear of Dr. Alan Carlin or NASA'S James Hanson?

Probably not, and that is the way the Obama Adminstration wants to keep it.

Dr. Carlin is an Environmental Protection Agency veterean who recently wrote a damaging report, warning that the science behind climate change was questionable at best, and that we shouldn't pass laws that will hurt American families and hobble the nation's economy based on Obama's incomplete information.

In a stunning rebuke of the Obama adminstration, NASA's James Hansen, one of the world's foremost climate researchers, called the American Clean Energy and Security Act, the anti-global warming bill that recently passed the House, "less than worthless."

Not only that, he referred to it as a "counterfit climate bill" that employs a "Ponzi-like cap -and-trade scheme" setting the nation on a "disaster course" as a result of the 219 members of Congress he accused of voting for it without reading it.

Then....

Energy Secretary Steven Chu said, "Denial of the climate change problem will not change our destiny."

What "destiny" do you think we are to have if we don't get our economy back to normal growth rate soon? Do you think climate change will matter at all to millions of starving and homeless people?

One has to wonder about the margin of error for calculating the "emmissions effects" and "emissions trajectories" as this is entirely speculative.

The word "temperature" does not appear even once, likely Mr. Chu can't chart a "temperature trajectory" due to the fact that he has not demonstrated that a correlation exists between CO2 and atmospheric temperature.

Well, at least this one appears to have paid his taxes!

Has this country's governmental body lost all of their senses?

How dare they impose such a restrictive "tax" in the name of global warming, perpetuating this hoax to the point of the downfall of American life as we have known it.

It seems to us that we went through this several years ago with BTU tax that they tried to pass, and that one was shot down.

We will lose more of our industry to overseas where they will not impose this on their citizens.

Like China and India for example.

How can they even consider this knowing that it will only lower the temperature by 0.1 celsius, over a period of many years.

The Senate needs to stop this ridiculous nonsense and start working on issues that are destroying our country now.

Unemployment, our economy, loss of our dollar value, which declines each time they run the printer.

How do they propose we as Americans earn a living so that we may pay "their" salaries and keep them in the style they have all become accustomed to.

It is time they paid attention to the "people" who work hard each day, are "honest", pay their taxes and are "law" abiding citizens, rather than the special interests you all seem to be so entangled with.

Who would've thought the only person who could be seen as compent in this administration is Hillary Rodham Clinton!

NEWS FLASH...NEW BUILDING COMMISSIONER?

It is now rumored that Mayor England has appointed Deputy Mayor Carl Malysz as Building Commissioner.

How many tax dollars will this position add to Malysz's salary in addition to Deputy Mayor and Redevelopment Director?

It is also said that the Building Commissioner, Ron Hartman has been appointed Code Enforcement Officer.

Is this why our City Council recently approved the hiring of a second Code Enforcement Officer?

What qualifies Malysz to be Building Commissioner?

And, is he certified?

Didn't the taxpayers just pay to school Hartman to qualify to be certified as a Building Commissioner?

The New Albany Tribune, July 8th, page 2 listed Brage Benjamin under jail activity for possession of a controlled substance on two counts.

Is this the same Brage Benjamin who is a New Albany Building Inspector?

Does Mayor England require "drug testing" of all new employees?

How much more of the England Adminstration mess, can we taxpayers afford?

YES...we will need a larger jail to hold all the CROOKS in New Albany!

After reading our June 24, 2009 edition of the Tribune, we had to laugh.

"England doesn't want New Albany City Council looking over his shoulder on paving plan."

This is not the 1990's Mr. Mayor.

Has his ego gotten in the way, or can he not handle: Checks and balances?

"Paving was ordered by the New Albany City Council earlier this month when it approved spending up to $2 million of Economic Development Income Tax dollars for resurfacing."

Benedetti question the plan that was handed to the council and doesn't understand why the plan isn't ready.

Mrs. Benedetti, have you ever heard of: bait and switch or smoke and mirrors?

Mrs. Benedetti should ask herself two question:

* How can this be a rough draft, if tax dollars were used to pay Jacobi, Toombs and Lanz?

* How could Jacobi, Toombs and Lanz provide cost estimates if there were NO plans available?

Mayor England should realize that he is spending EDIT tax dollars out of our pockets. The Council representing taxpayer districts have a responsibility to listen to the taxpayers and share their needs with the Mayor.

Mayor England states: "We're going to pave the streets that people use the most-get the major thoroughfares.

We smell another campaign promise "street" to be paved.

We elected the mayor into office and we expect him to listen to us.

Arrogance is NOT acceptable in this case!

Silver Street Elementary will NOT be closing.

Thanks to all of the Resources for Results Committee members. Maybe now, the Mayor and other local blogs will stop misleading the people of New Albany.

This was never the intention, to close Silver Street Elementary. The goal was to make a decision in the best interest of the people.

CAP-AND-TRADE VOTE TODAY...

Cap-and-trade is a tax on coal, oil, and natural gas but instead of being a specific tax rate, the total level of use is capped and companies are forced to pay the government for emissions permits. They bid against each other to stay in business, and no body knows how much the tax will be until they hold the auctions.

It's a crazy unpredictable tax.

With gas prices climbing, the last thing we need is a new energy tax that will drive them even higher, nearly doubling the cost of electricity, and destroy millions of jobs every year for the next 25 years.

Don't buy Obama's BS, that it will only cost us about 44 cents a day.

The bill also contains renewable energy mandates.

These big government directives are not aimed at helping consumers; they are subsidies to environmental special interest groups who have a political stranglehold on Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

These mandates would require that a certain portion of everyone's energy use come from renewable sources.

While this may sound good, the technologies to produce renewable energy are expensive and untested.

Before Congress shoves higher energy costs down everyone's throat, these products should have to compete in the marketplace like everything else.

Using climate change to grow government and centralize control of our economy is unacceptable.

This cap-and-trade plan aims to limit gas emissions, but we've read that even with the 83 percent reduction in such emissions envisioned by 2050, we will achieve just two years of avoided global warming.

What this plan really will do is place severe regulatory burdens on domestic industry that will ultimately drive up the prices you and us pay for electricity, gasoline, natural gas, and virtually every product we purchase that uses fossil fuels in it's manufacture or transportation.

This cap-and-trade tax could increase your family's energy bill by $1,500 annually!

What's more, the Waxman-Markey bill will hit us not only as a consumer, but as a taxpayer, as it significantly grows the size and cost of government.

This cap-and-trade scheme empowers bureaucrats to dictate virtually every aspect of commercial and individual energy use.

It also opens the door to the potential for political manipulation and corruption.

["Lord knows, we have enough corruption here in New Albany, to last us all a life time!"]

We see very little environmental pay-off for the enormous costs this bill will impose on our family's, American businesses, and our economy.

OBAMA'S SUPREME COURT CHOICE:

Now that we have elected a black President and on the surface, supposedly are gravitating away from racial bias, but in reality, everything these days is about race.

Now it seems important to have the first Hispanic Supreme Court justice.
Whatever happened to Martin Luther King's idea of having a person judged by the content of their character and not their race?

It is no longer about having the most qualified person for the job, it now has become about "making history" with a first of this or that race in a particular job or office.

This doesn't serve "we the people", it serves a liberal agenda!

How could Obama nominate someone who has had 4 decisions made by said nominee overturned by the constitution.

Clearly this proves the President and said nominee is either:

A constitutionally ignorant or

B constitutionally stupid.

Both of these facts should automatically remove any chance of said nominee being approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

If the Senate Judiciary Committee majority approve said nominee, then A: and B: stated above also applies to each Senator who votes in favor.

There have been NO Supreme court justices appointed to the bench that have had any of their rulings overturned by the constitution, let alone 4.

Instead of what people call an Hispanic for the Supreme Court, how about Obama nominate an American.

Oh, I forgot he's NOT an American either!

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is canceling plans to attend international meeting in Italy and Greece this week as she recovers from surgery.

Former President Clinton told us Saturday, that Hillary is recovering, but is not up to making the trip.

Deputy Secretary of State Steinburg will lead the U.S. delegation of meetings in Greece and William Burns, the under secretary of state , will head the U.S. delegation to separate talks in Italy.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton fractured her right elbow during a fall. Clinton was on her way to her White House office, when she fell and shattered her elbow.

She will undergo surgery to repair her elbow in the coming week.

"CASH FOR CLUNKERS'

Sens. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, and Susan Collins, R-Maine, slammed the House bill offering cash incentives for traded-in autos, claiming that Detroit auto industry lobbyists have jacked the proposal and turned it into "another big bailout" for gas guzzlers.

Another Obama scam...

60% of the cars that are currently donated to charity will now be eligible for a $3,5000 or $4,500 voucher under the cash for clunkers program. Since the tax deduction for donating a car is only $500 or what the car sells charities won't be able to compete with the program and charitable car donations will end.

A better idea is to change the amount a person can deduct for donating their car back to the book value. That way every car is eligible, the government doesn't have to spend $4 million of our dollars giving away vouchers and trying to administer a program that is way too convoluted!

This new scam "requires consumers to trade up for more fuel-efficient cars and trucks to qualify."

Trade up?

Since 1994, ACORN has received more than $53 million in direct federal funding. And over the years, ACORN and it's employees have also been the subject of investigations, indictments, and consent decrees in states all across the nation for election-related activities that run afoul of the law.

This isn't a political witch hunt, as many democrats claim.

The prosecutors who have brought the charges against ACORN and it's employees are both Republican and Democrat. They're doing their jobs, enforcing the law and protecting the integrity of the voting process.

Yet even as fresh charges were being filed against ACORN and it's employees in Nevada and Pennsylvania, Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives worked to protect the stream of tax dollars to this organization.

They strip down language that was put in a mortgage reform bill [HR 1728] - language that would have ensured that Congress sets a high bar for who has access to your tax dollars.

Our Congress and the Administration have been on a spending spree with your money, racking up trillion dollar deficits for years down the road.

If Congress can't draw the line here - if they can't say that an organization repeatedly charged with violating the law and public trust should not have access to federal funds - where will they draw the line?

Speaker Pelosi, we think that Congress has a duty to the taxpayers to keep our hard-earned money out of the hands of those who play fast and loose with the law.

2. They've insured millions of tax dollars worth of severance to the execs

3. They have made assured all the employees are screwed out of their benefits, severance pay, retirement, and

4. Last but most importantly: they have crippled and nearly disbanded the UAW, the last of the unions and the last bastion of hope for American workers!
