In a Courier Journal article on Jan. 4, 2006, Robert Lee of Southern Indiana Waste Systems declined to name his partners and investors. Freedom Of Speech would like to know what is the big secret about the identity of the partners & investors? Why did Robert Lee, President of SIWS decline to answer?
In the past The City picked up recycling weekly. So if the new company is only picking up recycling twice a month, will my monthly fee be reduced by one-half? Also will the new company pay for the employees' cell phone bills?
We at Freedom of Speech think the citizens of New Albany have a right to know the names of the partners and investors. This is especially true since we are paying for these services. And if we are getting half of the service, should we not pay half of the monthly fee?
Mr. Mayor, we need further clarification of this contract.
