Jan. 18--First date to file a declaration of candidacy for party primaries or nonpartisan school board races.
Feb. 17--Noon deadline to file a declaration of candidacy.
April 3--Voter registration ends. First day to vote by absentee ballot.
April 28-- First day a traveling board can vote confined voters.
May 1-- Noon deadline for all absentee voting.
May 2-- Primary elections from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
