Councilman Jim Wathan said after the budget was passed that all the council did Tuesday "was kick the can down the road."

If you want to fix the budget shortfall:
* Lay off the last 50 people who were employed in 2011-2012
* Cut benefits on all County employees
* Park all take home cars
* Put all County employees on the Obamacare Exchanges

It's time Floyd County and the City of New Albany knows how the rest of us live. We live on a budget and stop the spending.....
